Trail Angels

The Menonite Church Camp, Wrightwood, CA.
Gave me a free place to stay, and a hot shower.
Donna and Jeff Sauffley, Agua Dulce, CA.
An incredibly warm and welcoming couple who have let hikers over run their guest house and lawn for three years now. Donna's good conversation and hospitality is an inspiration to all.
Tomas Lee Bragdington, Campo, CA.
The proprietor of the train museum in Campo. Welcomed us to the area and let us leave Aubin's car in his parking lot over night. Encourages hikers to camp at the museum before hitting the trail.
Greg Hummel, Tom Reynolds and Bob from San Diego who put together the whole kickoff for the class of '99
Paul Miller and Pat Zeigler, Kamp Anza, CA.
Unofficial PCT taxi, a warm house, green lawn, computer and great company!
The Palms to Pines Diner
Opened up just for a few hikers, and fed us huge pieces of apple pie a la mode, with large cups of hot cocoa, and then showed me photos from his 1973 NOLS course!
The Middletons
A small storage cabin, stocked with fresh baked goodies, water, fuel and sofas. Provided much needed shelter from noise and polution of Rt. 10.
The Firemen of Big Bear City
Provided a green lawn and hot showers.
The Summit Valley County Store, proprietor Larry Garland
